Light crash, 2024
I contemplated what I could depict beyond personification - beyond anthropomorphism and the lends of human perception. This idea was inspired by Martin Heidegger, who explained that in this vast universe, where we are categorized as 'human,' we cannot find any grounds to acknowledge our special privilege within it, despite being part of it ourselves. Yet, we base our understanding of 'being' on describing the phenomena around us. His profound question challenged me, ultimately leading to the creation of one of my light paintings. I do feel this is just the beginning.
